Operations
Head of Operations
Your key objective will be to ensure the best possible rider and driver experience – You will report to the CEO and work closely with the CTO to deliver a smooth ride for all. You will play a key role in rider and partner retention.
You are a resourceful hands-on self-starter and can work tirelessly to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
You find the idea of making a difference in someone's life extremely rewarding, you are passionate about the environment and no task will seem too small in that respect.
Extremely organized, you can effectively work with partners and you have a natural eye for making things run smoothly and efficiently, and you are not afraid of keeping track of a lot of moving parts. You are ready to make RidePal an important part of your life.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of commute and in-vehicle experience
- Lead customer support and field services
- Manage rider onboarding experience
- Seek and maintain relationships with shuttle providers and negotiate long term contracts
- Build operations, support and field services teams
- Coordinate vehicle schedule and routing changes; work with shuttle vendor dispatch and routing teams.
- You will work closely with the RidePal Company Evangelist as he will enlist you to support with such issues as GPS, WiFi, Customer Treat Days, etc.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree
- Experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics, process engineering, business operations or customer support a big plus
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to juggle priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with GPS coordinated fleet management a plus
Pluses:
- Hands on experience running Employee shuttle systems for any major high tech company

Engineering
Mobile Application Developer
Your key objective will be to build RidePal’s mobile capabilities. You will report to the CTO and play an essential role in RidePal’s long-term success and rider’s satisfaction.
You are a creative self-starter who loves to develop code for mini-computers, eg. mobile platforms. You get really excited at the idea of improving people’s quality of life through on-the-go intuitive mobile applications.

Responsibilities:
- Create and develop RidePal’s mobile products and solutions working closely with the web development and back-end teams
- Help define scope and direction of RidePal’s mobile product strategy
Requirements:
- BS/BA in computer science. MS or equivalent experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in development on one or more of the following: Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BREW, WebOS.
- Expert level development in Java or C++. or Python. Prototyping experience using Python, Ruby or VisualBasic.
- Additional experience writing highly scalable server-side components an advantage.
- Industry experience with mobile handsets/carriers preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects independently and on time, with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills mandatory.
- Experience with Agile development a plus.
